Balloon Fight Gets a Mario Makeover

This clever hack transforms the classic Balloon Fight into a fully Mario-themed experience. Mario and Luigi take the place of the original players, Koopa Troopas replace the enemies, and nearly every palette in the game has been reworked to give it a brighter, friendlier look — a welcome departure from the original's strange space aesthetic.

A few bonus lives have been added to ease the difficulty and make it feel more casual and approachable. And perhaps best of all? That infamous high-pitched enemy noise from the original has been replaced with a much more neutral, less stressful sound — making for a noticeably more enjoyable playing experience from start to finish.

A fun, polished hack that feels right at home in the Mario universe.
